Preparing For Your Boudoir Session
Let's talk about Boudoir Sessions!
I never thought I'd be photographing boudoir sessions. In fact, if you ask my friends they will tell you I said I would "never" do them. It's not that I don't like boudoir. It's that I felt so nervous to capture such an intimate image of someone. Luckily I had a friend who insisted I take some for her and I haven't looked back.
Let's get ready!
The Week of Your Session
Shave or wax, and moisturize this includes eyebrows, legs, underarms, and your bikini line.
Get a pedicure and manicure.
Stay hydrated.
Say NO to sun exposure and spray tans.
The Day of Your Session
Check your bag to make sure you have everything you need.
Eat! Modeling is hard work and shouldn't be done on an empty stomach.
Wear loose fitting clothing to avoid skin impressions.
Wash and moisturize your face.
Exfoliate your face with a natural exfoliator.
AVOID sunscreen just for today.
Apply eye cream
Style your hair.
WHAT TO BRING
OUTFITS
Feel free to bring as many as you'd like. I like options! The most important thing is for you to be comfortable! That means it is okay to think outside the box. Want to wear his favorite jersey? Pair it with some knee high striped socks. Have one of his white dress shirts? It will look great with a pair of lacy panties. Got a cozy sweater you love? Bring it!

SOMETHING EXTRA
Pieces that show your personality are always a great idea. Bring in that leather jacket you love or your favorite jewelry. Hats, sunglasses, reading glasses, your favorite record or book, we can add them all to your session to give it a personal touch.
Don't Forget Shoes
Heels or boots bring what suits you!
Additional Items
Snacks and drinks. (I do provide water and a selection of tea along with granola bars)
Lotion
Your favorite perfume
Your favorite hype girl! (Yep you can bring your bestie with you. Just let we know in advance.)
I hope this post helps you feel more at ease leading up to and during your session. You've got this!
