Beyers Family

Yeah, it's been a while since I've blogged.  Let's blame it on the global pandemic.  Seriously though, business has been slow. It's understandable.  Who thinks about photos when it's hard to find toilet paper or when you have to wonder about proper mask wearing rules during  a session?

Before all of the chaos, I welcomed the sweetest family into my studio!  Seriously, they were the cutest!

See what I mean?  So cute right?! I'll share a few more because really, you come here for the photos not my monologue.

It just doesn't get much cuter folks.  I absolutely love capturing families in all their warm happy love.

Soaking Up Summer

You guys!  I nearly posted about fall family photos.  FALL PHOTOS!  It's the beginning of August and suddenly things feel more like fall. The air this morning felt crisp and cool as I checked on my garden.  I'm not ready for fall.  Not even close.  It's been a beautiful summer.  We've swam in the pool and tended to our garden.  We've spent nights by the fire roasting marshmallows and gazing at the stars.  We've gathered with friends to enjoy fireworks.  We've spent many nights at the ball field cheering our our favorite team. Still it feels like it's never enough.  I want more hot sunny days and star filled nights.  I want more dinners with friends and campfire conversations.  Summer is my jam.  This summer in particular  has been a much needed distraction from all of the chaos.  Sure, we missed vacation and all of the summer events we usually participate in, but it's hard to feel sad when the sun warms your shoulders and there is so much life growing all around us.

If you're like me and you're missing summer before it's even gone.  This post is for you!  These photos are so full of whimsy and magic.  There's something so quintessentially summer about fireflies in glass jars on a hot summer night.

I'll save those fall photos for another day.  For now I'm going to relish the sun and start up the pool so I can soak in every last beautiful bit of summer.

Tell me all about your summer in the comments!
