Cara's Maternity Session

It's been a very rainy season, but miraculously the clouds parted and the sun came out during my maternity session with Cara.  She made the trip over to "my neck of the woods"  with her cute as a button daughter, Catherine, who just happens to be smitten with Hayden.  In fact, she calls him her "boyfriend".  Hayden seems to like her as well. As I was editing these photos, he kept coming to the computer and saying "Oh, she's pretty!".  The two had a blast playing together!
At 36 weeks pregnant, Cara had the full on "mom glow".  Her beautiful belly is full and round just as it should be.  It was so much fun to walk around Foxburg and take photos on such a gorgeous sunny day.  I can not wait until I get to take some newborn photos for her.

Catherine is going to make a wonderful big sister!

I took these inside with my new made-on-a-budget background.  I hope to have a post with all of the details very soon.  (You know, as soon as I have a moment when I'm not in class, studying, or taking care of the family.)

Cara had no problem showing her beautiful belly!  She said she's earned every last one of her stretch marks.  As a mom with stretch marks, I couldn't agree more.  Each one is evidence that her amazing body carried life!

Congratulations Cara, Steven, & Catherine.   I can't wait to meet the new addition!

More Mia!

This little girl is so adorable!  It was so special to photograph her just after she was born while in the hospital, and our second session was just as fun.  We were surrounded by her two sisters, and brother.  They are such an adorable family!  Their mama has her hands full!

Isn't she a sweetie pie!

Baby Dylan

Dylan's parents, Billie Jo & Eric, were the second couple whose wedding I photographed. Who could have guessed that tow years later I'd be taking photos of their newborn son?  Our first session did not go very well.  Dylan we fussy, and not in the mood to be photographed.  As we all know, the baby is the boss.  So I packed up my gear and told Billie Jo we'd try again.  The second attempt was worth the wait.

I love the bottom picture!  Maybe he was trying to tell me he was finished with the session. :)

Thanks Billie Jo & Eric for allowing me to photograph another part of your journey!

The photo templates are from Florabella Collection
The elf hat is from Cotton Blossoms.
